He Knows

Updated: Jul 13, 2022

Bible Verse

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

– Jeremiah 1:5

The Thought

I know by now, you know who the He is. The question is what does is he know? Is it about me or about my challenges? Or……. We can keep going on thinking about what he knows.

The Next Question

WHAT DOES HE KNOW?

No need to go far, the answer is right here. And it is, HE knows everything. He told Jeremiah he knew him before he was born. Who does that? No one except him and that’s a sign of who he is. It is his nature.

The psalmist said in Psalm 139:4 “Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O Lord, You know it all.” This is another evidence that he knows it all. The scripture wasn’t written in this our time that we could have said it is a mind reader. But may it not be heard that we doubt God’s ability.

We live in a world where google and humans are our first point of reference when we are confused about anything. And this has caused us more trouble and stress. Beyond what we are faced with, he knows what will happen before and after.

Apart from knowing what we are faced with, he knows:

  • The intent of our hearts

  • Those that diligently seek Him

  • Those that love Him

  • Those that do His will

This should give us the confidence that we can’t want something or be confused by anything. He knows all things because he created everything both on earth and in heaven. So he knows your needs, worry not!

The BIG Questions

IF GOD KNOWS IT ALL, SHOULD YOU STILL BE WORRIED BECAUSE YOU ARE CONFUSED?

IF HUMANS, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DON’T EXIST, WHO WILL HELP YOU OUT?

Conclusion

One thing that we should know is that God does not become weary or tired, unlike humans. So why bore humans with all you are going through without going to God first. It isn’t a joke or, for fun that he is called Omniscient. Not at all. And if you go to seek him when confused, don’t be in a hurry to leave. Wait! And hear what he has to tell you.

Until next time,

Shalom!
